My role

My role as a paraplanner is to work closely with our financial planners to ensure that the goals and dreams of our clients are worked on diligently. I also aim to be a friendly and available point of contact for client queries, translating sometimes complex financial matters into something easy to understand.

Background

I began my career in financial services three years ago, learning the ropes as a financial administrator. Upon becoming qualified, I gradually transitioned into the Paraplanning role. Previously, I worked for several years at various law firms in and around Nottingham.

What’s important to me

I have a tightly knit group of family and friends, as well as my girlfriend, all of whom are extremely important to me. I am also highly focused on health and staying active in my downtime, training in a variety of different martial arts.

I also love to travel as much as possible and experience the diverse cultures of countries around the world, having recently visited many European capitals. Next stop Thailand and Japan!

Qualifications

I have achieved my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and I’m currently working through further exams to earn my Chartered status. Whilst the journey has been tough at points, the hard work translates into a better understanding of financial matters and ultimately better outcomes for our clients.
