My Role

As Operations & Marketing Director I provide support to the whole team, ensuring that we deliver a brilliant and efficient service to our clients, which in turn allows our clients to reach their lifetime goals.

I oversee business processes, answer any queries that members of the team might have to ensure that everything runs smoothly. I get involved in all parts of managing the business and help improve the service that we offer to clients wherever possible.

I also organise the marketing for the business, responsible for Balance: Wealth Planning’s communications, overall image and branding.

Background

I have 18 years of experience in the Financial Services profession. With varied roles over my career; from being an admin assistant to paraplanner to a team leader and most recently a Financial Planner. This experience has provided me with insight into each aspect of the business and helps in my current role as Operations Director. As well as my analytical side, I absolutely love being creative and take great joy in finding small things that make a big impact through the marketing that we do.

What’s important to me

I believe in acting with honesty and integrity and treating people as you would want to be treated yourself. I also love to help people and feel like I’ve made a difference; these principles are important to me.

I love to travel, although since the arrival of our daughter, our trips are not quite as far and wide across the world as they once used to be, and they’re definitely not as relaxing!

I’m a very creative person and I spend a lot of my spare time drawing, painting and creating graphic designs. I also love to exercise and keep fit; I lift weights, love to go spinning and be active as much as possible when not at work.

Qualifications

I have the internationally registered Certified Financial Planner qualification, as well as the Diploma in Financial Planning and Certificate in Financial Planning.
