Our Paraplanning Manager, Dani Nicholls, has been celebrating after being recognised as one of the UK’s best paraplanners in the 2019 Money Marketing Awards. Dani was awarded Highly Commended and the judges commented that her extremely positive attitude and dedication to the role stood out to them and that their decision had been a very close one to call.

Finishing in the top paraplanners in the country is unquestionably an outstanding achievement and one that’s well deserved. Dani has gone from strength to strength within the Balance: Wealth Planning team, developing a true flair for holistic financial planning, keeping our clients at the heart of every piece of work that she produces. It is wonderful that she has now also been recognised amongst her peers.

Dani started her career in financial services in 2012 and holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, as well as the Certificate in Pension Transfer Advice and Discretionary Management. She thrives on expanding her knowledge and experience, especially suggesting more unusual financial planning ideas and tips, as she diligently works towards the Chartered Financial Planner status.

On receiving the recognition Dani said: “Having paraplanner categories in industry awards are such a positive move for the profession, reiterating what a relevant career choice it is, not just the stepping stone it is sometimes viewed to be. I’m proud to have been part of that. I was very happy to be short-listed in the first place, to get highly commended was incredible, especially when hearing the judges’ glowing comments.
