Our charity support work continues in 2026, and our chosen charity, selected by our clients, is Trent Dementia.

Who are Trent Dementia?

“Trent Dementia Services Development Centre is a dementia charity founded in 2004. We support people affected by dementia through training, events, and innovative projects that promote empowerment, best practice, and lived experience.

Our work has included dementia care training, regional conferences, community projects such as walking and online groups, and the pioneering Life with Dementia events led by people living with dementia themselves. We also created and operated the AT Dementia website for 15 years, which is now part of the Disabled Living Foundation’s AskSara service.

Based at the Institute of Mental Health in Nottingham since 2014, we are now entering a new phase—expanding our activities to champion innovation and meaningful change in dementia care.”

How Balance will help the Trent Dementia

These are a few of the ways we support our chosen charities each year:

  •  Introductions that give back – For every introduction you make for our services, we will make a donation to charity. It’s a simple way to help your loved ones while contributing to a worthy cause.
  •  Engaging events – We will be hosting a variety of events, giving the opportunity for people to get involved and raise vital funds.
  • Creative fundraising – From charity-led initiatives to coming up with our own unique ideas, we’re committed to making fundraising fun!

Keep an eye out for any events and fundraising activities we organise this year, and we will keep you posted on the amount we can raise by the end of 2026.
