My role

As a paraplanner, I work closely with financial planners to construct bespoke financial plans that help our clients make their money work for them and achieve their life goals.

My focus is on producing clear, easy-to-understand reports that are tailored to each individual.

Background

I have worked in financial services for eight years, initially starting as an administrator. This first role allowed me to be a key point of contact for clients and gain first-hand insight into what truly matters to them. For the past three years, I have been a paraplanner, turning those clients’ objectives into practical, actionable financial plans.

What’s important to me

I am the treasurer of a charity that is very close to my heart, set up in memory of my cousin as a way to leave a lasting legacy. The charity provides Equine Facilitated Learning to children in the Nottingham area, supporting their development and wellbeing.

I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, and in my spare time I like to stay active by hiking and playing badminton in a local league.

Qualifications

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning from the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) and plan to continue my professional development by working towards Chartered status.

I also completed an apprenticeship as a financial services administrator, which helped me build a strong understanding of the industry.
